ARTservancy is a collaboration between creatives and conservancies (click here to see the non-profit organizations we partner with to provide access to preserves, trails, and lands saved for conservation). Our ARTservancy Advisory Board has selected 24 sites for accepted applicants to choose from, a list to be viewed will be added soon (check back in mid July).

We started with the notion that if artists spent a year on a specific piece of land and created works of art based on that experience, we might all be more informed, challenged & ignited in new ways.

Selected Artists in Residence will be announced in October of 2024.  We will meet four times throughout the program to connect and see what you are working on, with our first meeting in November.  During 2025, you will be visiting your Land Partner’s site location and developing a body of work that will exhibit at Gallery 224 in 2026.  There will be opportunities to post a blog on https://awealthofnature.org/blog-the-natural-realm/, workshops, and artist talks during the open receptions.

If you are interested in being considered for a one-year residency, please submit the following application. Along with the application, please send 5 images of your artwork to artservancy@gallery224.org, a short artist bio with 150 words max, CV, and resume.  Your application will be reviewed once we receive the final materials and application fee of $40.
